En 1,994 yo era socio del Phantom music (la membresía era gratuita) y recuerdo haber buscando en todos libros de encargos y los super masters este disco de Big Brother. Aun no lo tenían en formato digital. Pensé: "si no lo tienen ahora, en los 90s, menos lo tendrán dentro de unos años". Que bueno haberme equivocado. Grabado entre presentaciones y en vivo y algunas en estudio, este disco llegó a superar en charts al Electric Ladyland (obra maestra y cumbre Jimi Hendrix), y aunque los discos son conceptualmente distintos, se siente una progresión ácida entre uno y otro. Temas densos como "Ball and chain", "Oh sweet Mary" o "Piece of my heart" son muestra del genio de Big Brother and the holding company. Ni qué decir de la increíble versión del clásico de la opera negra de G. Gershwin "Porgy and Bess": "Summer time"
